It seems unlikely that we will be getting the much-anticipated vaccine for the coronavirus anytime soon. The coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic has pretty much changed the world as we know it. While people are desperate for this lock-down and quarantine to end, many are coming with their own ‘cure’ for the coronavirus. In fact, don’t do anything that your doctor doesn’t advise you. Actress Saba Hameed has also asked people not to try these unverified cures as they could do more harm than good.
Recently, the versatile actress took to her social media account on Twitter to educate her fans and followers about misleading “totkas” being shared on the internet.
One of the latest in a long line of these ‘miracle cures’ is Sana Makki (or the senna plant). Like all other cures, this is just one of the many fake ones being spread on the internet.
Again, do not take sana makki to cure covid-19. Please.

Covid patients should not use sana makki,it’s a laxative,it dehydrates the patient and he/she can die, only normal people can take it for constipation but that too once a day and little in quantity, there is no medical evidence that it’s a covid cure.

“Covid patients should not use sana makki, it’s a laxative, it dehydrates the patient and he/she can die. Only normal people can take it for constipation but that too once a day and little in quantity, there is no medical evidence that it’s a covid cure,” she wrote.
Saba Hameed has requested people to not consume sana makki as it is more of a laxative than a genuine cure for the coronavirus. For people diagnosed with the deadly virus, it is better to consult with a certified medical professional and must quarantine themselves from others around them.
