Saudi Arabia Ranks Higher Than Pakistan as the Best Country For Women

Do you agree?

Recently, CEOWorld Magazine did a survey to showcase the best countries for women. Let’s be honest, no country in the world can guarantee that they are 100% safe in safeguarding the rights of women. The results of the magazine’s rankings were surprising – for one thing, Saudi Arabia was judged as the best Arab country for women!

Yes, you’ve heard that right, Saudi Arabia is the best Arab country for women, even better than the UAE.

What about Pakistan?

However, Pakistan’s ranking in a list of 156 countries should give us some food for thought.

Saudi Arabia is ranked 91st. India, with all their societal issues of rape and discrimination against women, are ranked 49th. It would seem that Pakistan would rank either higher than India or at least somewhere below in the 50s.

But as the results show, it is nowhere closer to those rankings. Pakistan sits at the 145th position.

Pakistan is ranked 145th in a list of 156 countries. We are somewhere between Uganda and Ethiopia. If everyone’s wondering which country topped the list, it’s Sweden.

It is indeed curious as to how Pakistan has been ranked so low in the spectrum? Maybe this is due to all the horrific cases of rape and torture against women that we choose to ignore or the lack of initiative to help empower women?

Either that or this is just another case of Western discrimination against Pakistan. Because let’s face it, Saudi Arabia, a country that just started allowing women to drive cars, is ranked higher than a country that once had a female Prime Minister,

  1. Nobody can trust on these classifications. Saudi Arabia its true that law is strict and nobody dares . But is that enough??? Till last year I had seen women is not treated as human even they r just born for men and nothing else. They cant work they can go out without veil they cant do anything by their own wills. They r just servants of men as men had other services so woman is one of that. Now come to india everybody knows metoo and we read in newspaper publicly they r raped which no other country can even imagine. But their economy is bigger so nobody dares to get them angry whether it is online service provoder exporters importers or survey etc. Rape in Europe and America is higher. Even in America u cant change flights on other airport due to crimes. New york and else people keep sone dollars in pocket so that criminals shud not get angry if they find empty pockets. So ps this is totally wrong. Its same West and America forms many forums to discourage and control countries so that they shud not apply taxes on imports. Now when china became major exporter then they themselves r breaking their own institutions and laws. Trump and all their allies r putting restrictions and duties on chinese goods. Look the fate of Huwavi. America and west r just using third world and developing countries as tissue. World is changing soon very soon world orders will be changed by achina.

  2. This is out of question, that S.Arabia is better than Pakistan in women’s case. Just yesterday they allowed their women to drive a vehicle. On the other hand, it’s far beyond their imagination to have a woman PM, or head of the state. You name any field of the country, like, education, health, hospitals, telecommunication, games, industrial activities, any sphere of the country, you will find women there. It is not in S. Arabia.
