Mehwish Hayat Slams Troll Over Polio Awareness Message [Video]

Here’s what she did.

Mehwish Hayat

Mehwish Hayat recently got trolled for spreading awareness about polio, so naturally, she clapped back. What kind of person trolls others over polio awareness?

In a video message, the Load Wedding actress encouraged people to vaccinate their children against polio and other diseases amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While people die from the novel virus, we ought to be smarter about taking advantage of the vaccines that we do have.

Here’s how Mehwish started her tweet:

“The worst thing about coronavirus is that it spreads rapidly and still we don’t have any vaccine for it. But we have treatment for polio please give your children proper drops of polio.”

She shared an interesting fact that the Coronavirus helpline is actually the polio helpline.

“I want to share something which I recently found out. Do you know 1166 helpline on which we call to know about the information on coronavirus? In reality, it is helpline of police eradication Pakistan. That’s not it, this team has worked so hard to fight with coronavirus.”

Polio workers have been going above and beyond to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, just like other medical and paramedical staff. We should appreciate all that they have done while risking their own lives.

“They are away from their families and putting their lives in danger so that we can stay healthy, …. so for the love of God vaccinate your young ones against deadly diseases like polio regularly”
