Shahroz Sabzwari isn’t new to controversies. His alleged affair, divorce, and then marriage to Sadaf Kanwal resulted in outrage on social media. But his recent tweets about supporting a killer, people have some pretty strong opinions about that.
Last week an elderly man appeared in court at the Peshawar Judicial Complex for a case hearing. Tahir Ahmed Naseem was a 47-year-old who was accused of blasphemy.
However, before his case could proceed, a man entered the courtroom and gunned down the accused.
In a tragic incident today a man was shot dead in front of a judge in Peshawar. It is being reported that he was Ahmadi, which is not true. He was born Ahmadi but left the community many years ago. /1

Therefore, to avoid any misinformation I would like to clarify that the deceased was not part of Jamaat Ahmadiyya. In any case our heartfelt condolences go out to his family at their tragic loss. /2

While a majority of the people are against the brutal killing of the man, some, including Shahroz, think he did the right thing.
The shooter was arrested on the spot. Peshawar Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Mohammad Ali Gandapur and SSP (operations) Mansoor Aman took notice of the incident.
The Debate
Many took to their social media accounts to condemn the act of killing the accused man. Regardless of what the case was, by law his fate was to be decided by the court.
Laws and constitutions are made to HELP citizens and countrymen, not tempt them.
The law against BLASPHEMY is very clear in Pakistan. Courts need to FOLLOW.— Syed ShahrozSabzwari (@ShahrozSabzwari) August 2, 2020
To gun down a helpless and unarmed man was seen as a heinous crime. However, the Dil Ruba actor has deemed him a hero.

Shahroz Sabzwari under fire
Everyone was quick to give the 34-year-old actor a reality check. Let’s take a look at how the public reacted to Shahroz supporting the killer of Tahir Ahmed Naseem.
Disgusting to glorify a killer who murders a handcuffed, defenceless, mentally ill prisoner in cold blood. This is not Islam or love of the Holy Prophet. This is madness hatred, zulm and psychosis. SHAME ON YOU

Shahroz Sabzwari only remembers Islam when it suits him. He appearantly knows the punishment for blasphemy but what is the punishment for cheating bhai? @ShahrozSabzwari

Nobody Wins
While we do have laws and rules set to guide us regarding what’s right and what’s not, nobody has the right to take the law in their own hands.
