Irfani has quite a portfolio that consistently competes for the audience’s attention on-screen, and that too when he’s paired with superstars like Naveen Waqar, Ayeza Khan, Amna Ilyas, and more.

Emmad Irfani – A Profile
Emmad Irfani made his acting debut with drama serial ‘Aasmanon Pe Likha’ back in 2013. Initially, he had been nailing it with supporting roles in Ek Thi Misaal and Janam Jali.
By 2014 he bagged his first lead role in Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi, and was critically acclaimed for his role as ‘Malik Mansoor‘. That’s when the biz acknowledged he’s not just another pretty boy model-cum-actor but someone who deserves a lot better.
Did you know he actually started off as a model? He’s been in the fashion industry since 2001, modeled for local designers like HSY. He was even in a TVC with Mahira Khan.
Aside from that, he made his film debut with 7 Din Mohabbat In, a film by his cousin Farjab Nabi.
He’s become a household name with his rising popularity in the drama scene. Here’s a list of some of his best works.
1. Cheekh

Of course, we had to mention this masterpiece. Although Emaad had a supporting role in the crime-thriller, he held the audience’s attention even opposite an amazing actress like Saba Qamar. At times we were rooting for ‘Shayan‘ rather than the protagonist ‘Mannat‘. Maybe that’s why they had to kill him.
2. Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi

Emmad’s turn as a baddie in this drama was memorable. People could just get goosebumps at the sight of him, and in a good way. The actor really had us loath his character ‘Malik Mansoor‘ because he really outdid himself with the impeccable characterization. Especially with that sneer constantly plastered on his face.
3. Maryam Pariera
While the drama has a female protagonist played by Sadia Khan, both Ahsan Khan’s ‘Ali Khan’ and Emmad Irfani’s ‘Sufyan’ compete for attention in supporting roles. So who won you over – Sufyan or Ali Khan?
4. Dil Nahi Manta
The drama serial already had a strong storyline focusing on dysfunctional families and forced marriages. However, Emmad Irfani’s character had you crying and gushing on an emotional roller-coaster.

5. Tawaan
Tawaan cast the Janam Jali actor as a man conflicted between his past and future. Irfani role wasn’t that of a Prince Charming nor the emotionally abusive ‘heroes‘ we see on screen. He offered a more emotional, raw, and realistic look at a man trapped emotionally and mentally.
6. Kuch Na Kaho
We had mixed feelings about his character ‘Mohsin‘. He was traditional and over-protective, and at times just plain egotistical and misogynist.
While we might have hated him, we can’t help but appreciate how he was also looking out for his kids. His change of heart was touching in the end.
