He was not kitten around (kidding around), but when he accidentally activated the cat filter, his furry picture alongside the two men in suits had the Judge Roy Ferguson crack a smile.

“Can you hear me, judge?” Mr Ponton responded as a kitten.

“I can hear you. I think it’s a filter,” the judge replied.

“It is, and I don’t know how to remove it,” the lawyer said in response.

Judge Roy Ferguson later shared the clip on social media. He shared how the error is just a sign of us being human and it was funny and harmless, if not heart-warming.

“These fun moments are a by-product of the legal profession’s dedication to ensuring that the justice system continues to function in these tough times. Everyone involved handled it with dignity, and the filtered lawyer showed incredible grace. True professionalism all around!” he said

The lawyer behind the accident had a purr-fect response to the ordeal, as well. In a telephonic interview with The New York Times, the lawyer said:

“If I can make the country chuckle for a moment in these difficult times they’re going through, I’m happy to let them do that at my expense.”

Rod Ronton did try to play it a little cool saying, his secretary – whose computer he was using for the call – was ’embarrassed’ by the mistake. In the video he can be heard saying his secretary is helping him turn off the filter.

“My older and less humorous face popped up, and we continued with the hearing,” he said.
