An Attock man has been arrested for killing his mother. What fueled his rage? Just Rs. 10/- The Hasanabdal resident killed his mother over Rs 10/-
Hassanabdal resident, Naureena Bibi was found dead at her house on February 3rd. When police started investigating the homicide case they arrested her son. Amid the probe, the son even confessed that he killed his mother over Rs. 10/-.

Police told Samaa News, that during questioning the suspect said that he asked his mother for Rs. 10/- to buy a cigarette but she refused to give him the money. His mother’s refusal drove him into a rage and he opened fire at her. He says that although he killed his mother, that is not what he intended.
“I am unable to sleep now, … this is not what I wanted to do.” he said.
SHO Niaz Ahmed said that the police have recovered the murder weapon from the suspect’s possession.
The suspect has two brothers and two sisters.
A Similar Crime
Back in 2019, a man stabbed and killed his cousin over Rs. 100/- in Karachi. The incident took place on the Bhikhi Road area of Karachi, as Shahbaz attacked his paternal cousin Waqas with a knife, and stabbed and killed him in the process.
The Sheikhupura native then fled the scene of the crime realizing what he’d done. Policemen from Division Police Station then proceeded to look for Shahbaz.
