It seems popstar Asim Azhar really understands the plight of the poor students. After all, thousands of these students are ardent fans of the young singing sensation and absolutely dote on him. Perhaps Asim loves them equally as well that is why he took to Twitter to make a special request to Education Minister, Shafqat Mahmood on behalf of all the students.

He urged the Minister to not hold the exams because it would have been unfair to the students. In a string of tweets, the singer shared his growing concern over the problems faced by students due to Coronavirus. He further said that he personally knows a lot of young kids who are not able to finish their syllabus because of school closures. Holding exams in such a situation could put their future in jeopardy.

Students have really been disturbed due to the ongoing pandemic causing the institutes to close/open again & again. I personally know some students that haven’t been able to complete their syllabuses as well. Please kuch karain aur bacho ka saath dain. 🙏🏽 @Shafqat_Mahmood

And then Asim said something that completely won us over. He has so much empathy for the innocent students who have suffered the most due to the pandemic.

He then asked his young fans whether they want the exams to be completely canceled or just want them to be postponed.

Now we don’t know what will be the fate of these poor students but we really hope that things work out in their favor. With so much uncertainty around, it is definitely not easy to give exams. All eyes are on Shafqat Mahmood!
