The Internet can be a strange place. From fake news to unlikely comparisons. That’s how we ended up with desi Twitter comparing Imran Khan to Al Pacino.
It all started when BTS images of The Irishman actor from the sets of ‘Frankie and Johnny’ were ‘mistaken’ for images of Imran Khan. While Al Pacino might have changed his looks now, his pictures from back in the 90s really do resemble Imran Khan.

Do you see the resemblance? However, this comparison got inappropriate real fast. Al-Pacino is Hollywood’s finest and is revered for his ‘gansta‘ roles from The Godfather to drug kingpin in Scarface.

And things did get out of hand.
Imran Khan is actually doing an Al Pacino pose when he takes over the family and becomes the Godfather.
But trying to analyse such pictures for clues and body language is just silly. https://t.co/Sw6GXYmiHB

That reference to The Godfather is unfortunate as IK seems to be more Fredo Corleone rather than Michael or indeed Sonny 😕

People pointed out how there is no semblance between an elected head of state and a mafioso. We’ve taken the adjective ‘gangsta’ too far.
Make them stand next to each other… during any time of their lives… and you will see a difference… guaranteed

Yet it’s funny what desi Twitter will churn out and the comebacks that follow suit.

Al Pacino is 81-years-old while Imran Khan is 68-years old. While filming the 90s movie Frankie and Johnny, the Hollywood stalwart was around 50-years-old. Yet, do you see the resemblance?
