Pakistani actress Mansha Pasha urges everyone to continue supporting Palestine. In a recent Instagram story, the Laal Kabootar star reiterated the importance of protesting.
The ‘Pakistan for Palestine’ protests are taking place all over the country. Yesterday, locals and celebrities marched at Press Club Karachi to show solidarity for Palestine. As the photos appeared on social media, many people discouraged the protests and said that ‘it won’t do anything for Palestinians’.
Mansha Pasha noticed such reactions and made a Instagram story, saying people shouldn’t discourage others from protesting and showing their support for the cause.
“It’s really sad to see some of the comments underneath the photos for the protests. People are saying that ‘this won’t do anything’, ‘this won’t help them at all’. The people of Palestine are saying it themselves that we should speak about their injustices and support them. Pakistanis are showing their support by protesting for their rights.”
She continues,
“Pressure is building up due to the global protests, so you shouldn’t discourage people from talking about this. If they are trying to show their solidarity through protests, then it’s a good thing.”
