Have you ever looked at a media personality with confusion? You know they are famous, you know they are a big deal but you don’t know why. You try to figure it out by doing some research but then you find out that it was something stupid they did a few years ago that made them a star.
Apparently, someone is gaining a lot of attention on the micro-blogging site Twitter and people are confused about his origin. You will be surprised to find out that it’s not a human but in fact, some numbers, an amount actually. Rs 4000 is trending at #1 on Twitter and Pakistanis are confused.
This strange Twitter trend has everybody questioning about where it came from and why is it on the #1 spot.

But apparently it started a meme fest. Someone said that Rs 4000 is trending because everyone is asking why is it trending with no absolute reason.
Why Rs 4,000 is trending?
Because everyone is asking why Rs 4,000 is trending.😂😂
In Pakistan, everything can be trending. Like Hareem shah, Bhola record and Sania Ashiq too without any reason 😂😂— Tayyab Iqbal (@tayyabiqbal87) August 6, 2021
Rs 4,000 is trending because everyone is asking why it's on trending 😜🤣, but the question is that who started it and why???🙄🙄 Rs 4,000

So "Rs 4,000" is trending on Twitter because nobody knows why "Rs 4,000" is trending and everyone is asking why "Rs 4,000" is trending 😂😂

It was only after a few people revealed the reason behind this trend. It was actually a tweet by Asian News International (ANI) which started all of it. The media outlet shared a statement by Indian politician Aruna Chaudhray which reads,
“With a budgetary allocation of Rs 4,000 crores, the disbursement process of doubled Social Security Pensions at Rs 1,500 has been started from August 1. It will benefit 26,21,201 eligible beneficiaries: Punjab Cabinet Minister Aruna Chaudhary”
The real reason why Rs 4,000 is trending in Pakistan is because of this tweet by @ANI
Hence proved that no one can beat Pakistanis in the use of social media. pic.twitter.com/MnrvyYs1bu— vlog_shalog (@_ordinarydoctor) August 6, 2021
The tweet wasn’t even related to Pakistan but Pakistanis still managed to create content out of it. Once again, they have proved that no one can beat them when it comes to memes and humor.
