Last week, Iqra Aziz posted a picture praising Yasir Hussain for being an involved father. That’s when Sharmila Faruqui commented that being a hands on father is good parenting not something to be proud of.
Now, Yasir Hussain is clapping back at the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader. The Naach Na Jaaney actor has responded to the politician’s remarks on his fatherly duties saying;
“Bhai pyar se bhi masla hai, appreciation se bhi masla hai. (There’s a problem with love and appreciation) Proud feel krne se bhi masla hai. (There’s a problem with feeling proud) Siyasat kar k mulk ko barbard krnay se koi masla nahi. (No qualms with playing politics and destroying the country)”
The Jhooti actor did not hold back calling out the PPP politician’s shortcomings as a leader. While some people may argue comparing one’s personal life with their political performance is uncalled for, Mathira supports Yasir Hussain. The Blind Love diva, penned an extensive note on Instagram supporting the couple.
Meanwhile, Iqra Aziz also schooled Sharmila Faruqui saying;
“For you, it might not be a big thing, but in a world full of men who don’t always appreciate their wives for doing what they do as a mother for their child (jo dono ka hai). My husband does!! and if he supports, helps and appreciate, tou main kyun nahi!?”
The Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 actress further pointed out how South Asian women struggle for men to step up as parents. But when progress is made then some women say it’s nothing to be proud of.
“P.S women want men to help them aur phir karein tou boldo nothing to be proud of. Equality dono taraf ki honi chahiye.”
