The music video for the remake of the iconic 90s song ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani‘ is out and Raveena Tandon is highly impressed by Katrina Kaif’s performance.
Interestingly, the original track was filmed with Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon for the film Mohra. The remix, created for the cop drama Sooryavanshi, features Akshay Kumar again, but this time with Katrina Kaif.
Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan curated the performance for the Tip Tip Barsa Pani remake, and it’s as steamy as the original.
In a recent interview with India Today, the Main Hoon Na director revealed that Raveena was amongst the first people to call and praise Katrina’s sensual performance in the Sooryavanshi track.
“Raveena was the first one to call me and say that the song is looking fab and Katrina is looking so good.”
They even revamp the aesthetics of the song making it even more sensual than the original.
“Even Manish (Malhotra) was of the thought that we go away from the visuals of the original song and he’s made Katrina look like a million bucks. I also don’t think anyone could have done justice to Tip Tip, other than Katrina.”
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s version of the song is far from the 1994 film Mohra, featuring Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar.
