While many actresses are asked about career changes after becoming a parent, few actors are asked the same question. However, Hamza Ali Abbasi still opened up about changes after embracing fatherhood.
The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actor has been missing in action from our screens since his drama serial Alif. However, recently, he was spotted at the launch for Cast & Crew, a clothing line by Humayun Saeed & Adnan Siddiqui.
At the event, he was interviewed for GlossEtc. In the interview, Hamza Ali Abbasi talked about making a comeback in the biz. The Waar actor said that he plans to return to acting or do something in the future but for now he can’t.
He shared that he has other important things lined up for now. One of them being his son. Talking about his son, he shared that Mustafa is adorably amazing. He described his son as a gift from Allah to him.
On the subject of how fatherhood has changed him Hamza Ali Abbasi said;
“Yes, fatherhood changed me, it has turned me into a better person.”
Hamza Ali Abbasi rose to fame from his popular drama Pyare Afzal. After that, he landed one film after another with Waar and then Jawani Phir Nahi Ani.
Later when he made his comeback to television with Mann Mayal he blew up again. Followed by another film Parwaaz Hai Junoon, and then his television comeback with the drama serial Alif. That’s when he announced that he’s quitting the biz for spiritual reasons.
That was two years ago. Since then the actor has been working on his book. However, fans want to see him acting again.
