The Oscars: Will Smith Slaps Chris Rock, Wins ‘Best Actor’ 10 Minutes Later

Hollywood actor Will Smith left everyone in shock after slapping comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars. The Men In Black star was visibly upset after Chris made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

The 94th annual Academy Awards (aka the Oscars) are here but no one is really that interested. The award show has dwindled in viewership as people have lost interest for various reasons. However, the 2022 edition of the award show is trending on Twitter, for all the wrong reasons.

Actor and comedian Chris Rock came out to present the Oscar for the best documentary feature. The 57-year-old made a few jokes here and there. However, one of his jokes aimed at Jada Pinkett Smith backfired.

The comedian jokingly refers to Jada as “G.I. Jane” because of her shaved head. Jada Pinkett Smith has alopecia, which is why she shaved her head, and was not amused by the joke. However, her husband, Will Smith, got emotional and confronted Chris Rock live on stage. Check it out!

The Bad Boys star took to the stage to slap Chris as everyone gasped. Chris Rock played it off calmly but Will Smith was still fuming.

“Keep my wife’s name out of your f**king mouth,” the actor drops the F-bomb on live TV.

The shocking moment took everyone by surprise. People on social media try to figure out what just happened. Here are some hilarious reactions.
