As a British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also faced a vote of no confidence, Netizens had a lot to say given his friendship with former Pakistani PM, Imran Khan.
While Imran Khan did not survive the vote of no confidence, his friend Boris did. So Twitter rolled out a meme fest. Here are some of the most hilarious takes on the situation.
Woke up to good news: @BorisJohnson defeated the American conspiracy against him! Wish he had shared the art of surviving to his friend, @ImranKhanPTI as well.

After his own Conservative Party tried to oust him, the British PM promised to return to ‘fundamental’ Tory economic policies. The prime minister thanked those ministers that supported him in a confidence vote.
Despite him surviving the ordeal, 41% of Tory MPs stated that they have lost faith in him. Some Conservative MPs are still publicly calling on him to quit over widespread Covid rule-breaking in Downing Street.
The British PM also asked Tory MPs to ‘draw a line’ under questions about his leadership. He also vowed to cut taxes and government waste.
