The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has a bit of an ‘oops moment’ which even cracked Prince Charles up. The British PM was struggling with his umbrella when the Princes of Wales burst out laughing.
Various British dignitaries were attending a memorial service for police officers when it began drizzling. As Boris Johnson’s umbrella refused to cooperate, everyone had a laugh. Even the British PM was laughing about the situation.

However, many used this opportunity to troll the British PM. Despite having plenty of fans due to his antics, he’s garnered plenty of opposition too.

From casual racism to antics that draw attention away from actual problems. Like reciting a racist, colonial-era poem “The Road to Mandalay” on a visit to Myanmar. Hence drawing attention away from what Britain was doing about Myanmar’s genocide of the Rohingya.
Never forget Boris Johnson tried to recite a poem about British colonialism in a former British colony; at its most sacred temple. Until the UK Amb intervened: “you’re on mic. Not a good idea."
"What, The Road to Mandalay?"
“No. Not appropriate.”

People felt he was disrespectful for causing people to burst into laughter at a memorial service.
Can't even be serious and respectful at a memorial ceremony 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

It’s a memorial for dead police officers. A ‘normal bloke’ would have put the umbrella down and not attracted attention to themselves. There’s a time and a place for jokes and a memorial is not it (unless you are telling a kind and amusing anecdote about the deceased).

Additionally, this is the second incident of the PM not being able to handle his umbrella. Just a day prior he went viral for getting soaks despite having an umbrella. As Boris Johnson holds his umbrella too high and at an angle, he managed to get his clothes soaked.

It’s the consistency of his clumsiness that has people suggesting his antics are intentional. If they’re not, the public is concerned the British PM isn’t very well equipped for his job.
