From works that will mark the comeback of a certain artist to waiting on the work of an incredible director. There are a number of reasons why we’re really looking forward to watching some drama serial.
While there may be more to the list, we’ve compiled a list of upcoming drama serials we know the majority is hyped up about.
Tumhare Husn Ke Naam
While we love seeing the Hindi Medium diva back on the small screen with Fraud, we can’t wait to see Saba Qamar in Tumhare Husn Ke Naam. The drama serial cast Saba Qamar opposite Imran Abbas. With other cast members including Asad Siddiqui.
While the drama serial is expected to be released by the end of the year that’s all we know. There’s still no confirmation of which television channel will get to do the honors.
Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo
This is an adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq’s novel by the same name. Fans have been hyped up about this drama serial ever since she announced her next novel would get a drama adaptation.
If that wasn’t enough, this project also marks Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s onscreen reunion. To add to that it’s an Ehteshamuddin directorial.
Serial Killer
Yet another Saba Qamar starrer! While we usually know what to expect from an Umera Ahmed script, Serial Killer seems to be a wildcard.
With our Baaghi diva and Sonya Hussyn playing cops and Daniyal Raheal in the mix, we don’t know what to expect.
Pinjra
Written by the late Asma Nabeel, this marks the last script ever written by the celebrated playwright. She is the brains behind works like Damsa and Khuda Mera Bhi Hai. The Pinjra cast has quite the line-up starring Hadiqa Kiani, Omair Rana, Jenaan Hussain, Zhalay Sarhadi, and other talented actors. Najaf Bilgrami is directing the project while it’s being produced by Shazia Wajahat.
Bakhtawar
This Hum TV drama serial cast Yumna Zaidi and Arsalan Naseer. Those are two quite impressive fanbases. That’s all we know for now.

This will mark the return of Udaari famed duo Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed on-screen. Fans are still heartbroken over the celebrity power couple’s split. However, it’s nice to see that they have a working relationship.
22 Qadam
This drama serial will mark Hareem Faroq’s comeback after her last stint on TV with Mein Khyal Hun Kisi Aur Ka back in 2018. Meanwhile, the drama serial will feature Wahaj Ali as a cricketer. The 22 Qadam cast also includes Kinza Razzak. Directed by Anjum Shahzad, details about the projects are pretty hush-hush.
