After making waves in the drama serial Dil-e-Beqarar, Junaid Khan and Mansha Pasha are set to share the screen again in a drama serial!
The two were also seen in the film ‘Kahay Dil Jidhar‘. Since then Mansha Pasha has been scarcely seen on screen. However, Junaid Khan was seen in several drama serials.
Their next project is an upcoming drama serial called Adan. This drama serial is expected to release in September.
Speaking to Dawn Images, the Kashf actor spilled some details about the new project. Including the fact that he’s playing a journalist named Zaid.
“My character is a journalist — the kind that writes blogs and is very active on social media. Basically, he has the fire to change the system and eliminate corruption from [it]. He tries to highlight the wrongs in society — taken from current situations — in his blogs. So he is a digital journalist,” said Khan, filling the blanks about his character.
He said the story revolves around two other characters, namely Mansha Pasha’s character Adan and Azfar Rehman’s character Faraz.
“Me and Faraz are very close friends, best friends, and Adan is my love interest. These are the three characters shown in a broad perspective, there are many other characters who play an integral part in between but the main story revolves around these three.”
He also talked about why the audience enjoys the chemistry between Junaid Khan and Mansha Pasha so much.
“Whenever we’re working on scenes, we’re always trying to bring the best out in each other and complement each other in each scene. That is why people like seeing us together.”
The two have starred in dramas such as Dil-e-Beqarar, Madiha Maliha, and Zara Aur Mehrunnisa together.
