Maulana Tariq Jamil threatens a cleric in a voice note for “selling himself” to Hamza Shahbaz and PML-N. In response to his support for Imran Khan and PTI, Tablighi Jamaat has allegedly excommunicated the famous Islamic scholar.
Islamic preacher Maulana Tariq Jamil is trending on social media for controversial reasons. Recently, an audio clip of him is going around Twitter. In the clip, Maulana Tariq Jamil is calling out a fellow cleric, Maulana Usmani, for meeting with PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz.

“You traded your life and your faith for PML-N,” MTJ said in his voice note.
The famous Islamic scholar has become vocal about his support of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Imran Khan, which has divided the internet. In fact, according to a netizen, MTJ has been ex-communicated from Tablighi Jamaat.

However, people continue to pour in their support for Tariq Jamil, including actor Muneeb Butt, who tweeted in his favor.

Maulana Tariq Jamil, is a well-known Islamic religious scholar. The Pakistani preacher and writer is (or was) a devout member of the Tablighi Jamaat. He is a respected figure nationwide and around the world as well. The pious Islamic scholar has done a lot of charity work and spread the right teachings of our faith to both young and old. Last year, Maulana Tariq received acknowledgment for his vast contributions with the prestigious Pride of Performance Award.
