After waiting on the release of Shaan Shahid’s film Zarrar for ages, we finally got an update on the film. The actor-cum-director teased the first look at several of the film’s characters.
As the much-awaited film Zarrar release date has been set for 23rd September, 2022, we’re still waiting on more details. The Waar star announced the release date on social media and declared that the wait for his film is over!
In a tweet he said;

The last time the movie was supposed to hit theaters a trailer was released. This teaser was released in 2020 after a long and tiresome wait.
However, as the release was stalled yet again due to COVID, we were left without a full-length trailer. However, now we have a full length trailer. Additionally, the actor-cum-filmmaker teased looks at all the main characters.
Zarrar cast Nadeem Baig as Major General Mujtaba, who appears to be Zarrar’s mentor. While we didn’t get a poster for this character in the film, we have a good idea of this pivotal role.
Then the late Rashid Naz, Shafqat Cheema, Nayyaz Ejaz, are all seen as antagonists.
Meanwhile, Kiran Malik plays Shaan Shahid’s love interest who seems to be abducted and tortured by the enemy.
On the other hand, Umair Jaswal lent his vocals to the movie’s background score and the music also sounds promising.

With the filmmaker playing the titular lead role, the movie tells a dark, gritty and gory story. The central character was a part of a special unit of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) that is out there ‘to eliminate the threats to the country before they happen‘.
The trailer seems exciting, emotionally charged, and packed with action sequences.
