Sajal Aly teases fans of a potential desi dance number with Hollywood actress Emma Thompson in What’s Love Got To Do It?
Pakistani actress Sajal Aly continues to shine as she made her presence felt at the Toronto Film Festival in Ontario, Canada. The actress was there for the official screening of her upcoming film What’s Love Got To Do With It? by Jemima Goldsmith.
During the event, Sajal talked about her experience during the filming. The young starlet loved working with the Bollywood and Hollywood big names, including Indian director Shekhar Kapur.
“It’s a dream come true being directed by Shekhar and also sharing screen space with the likes of Shabana Azmi and Emma Thompson, as I have looked up to them my entire life,” Sajal Aly said about her experience working with the Indian filmmaker.
The Pakistani actress was over the moon about working with the likes of Shabana Azmi, Lily James and Emma Thompson. In fact, Sajal dropped an enticing teasers for the fans, revealing that she a desi dance number the Hollywood Oscar-winning actress. Sajal laughingly told the reporter that she totally let loose and had a “wild dance-off” with Emma Thompson.
What’s Love Got To Do With It? is a heart-warming rom-com that follows the story of filmmaker Zoe (played by Lily James). Lily has a hard time finding her “Mr. Right”, experiencing bad dates. While her childhood friend and neighbor Kazim (Shazad Latif) wants to follow his parents’ example by opting for an arrange marriage with a bride (Sajal Aly) from Pakistan.
