This will be Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s final gig of the year, and the qawwal claims he couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up 2022.
Gulf News recently quoted him as saying,
In my life, there is nothing known as my ‘last’ as it’s all a journey for me. This concert in Dubai is the best way to begin a new year and end the current one with my fans in Dubai, a city where its people have given me so much love unconditionally. This is my fifth concert in 18 months and I am grateful to everyone particularly Salman Ahmed of PME for putting up some of my best performances in Dubai.
The legendary singer also revealed his plans to settle down with his family in the famous City of Gold. The 48-year-old qawwal has been busy house-hunting with his family in Dubai and is already in talks with a real estate agent to snap up his new dream home.
“Dubai is definitely our second home. In fact, during this trip, my family and I are looking at properties in the city,” he said.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is one of Pakistan’s most respected and accomplished musicians and singers. He comes from a long line of renowned musicians who elevated the qawwali genre of classical music, and honed his skills by learning from the best, including his grandfather, Fateh Ali Khan, and his legendary uncle, the great Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
