Pakistani politician Nabil Gabol has come under fire for his making disturbing and misogynistic remarks about women and rape victims on a podcast.
In a clip that has gone viral on social media, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member was seen suggesting victims of sexual abuse to “enjoy” their horrible predicament. The distasteful remarks has not only sparked outrage but has also unearthed several instances where Nabil Gabol has shown signs of a sexual deviant.
In one of his recent interviews, Nabil Gabol was seen discussing sexual abuse. According to the PPP politician,
There is a saying in English: if rape is imminent, just enjoy it.
The shocking remark even took the host by surprise who tried to correct Gabol but he went on to justify his statement, claiming it to be a fact.
He said, “If you’re so helpless that you can endure rape, then just enjoy it, otherwise, if you have any shame, you stand your ground and don’t endure it.”
Netizens are outraged by Nabil Gabol’s reprehensible takes on sexual abuse. Several users dug up old clips of the politician to reveal this is not his first time.
From drooling over Reham Khan and supporting kidnapping to asking for the Dil Yeh Pukarey Aaja girl Ayesha Mano’s contact details, Nabil Gabol is a classic example of a sexual predator.
So few days all the in and out of closet jiyalas were hailing PPP for removing a random sm activist for posting a misogynistic tweet. Here is Nabeel Gabol uttering absolute filth about a woman here, but he won’t be kicked out he will he given MNA ticket https://t.co/ZG35qr3jwV

Even PPP chairman’s sister, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari has expressed her disgust at Nabil Gabol’s remarks and assured everyone that her family’s party has no place for misogyny.
His (repulsive) rhetoric belongs to his individual only & is in noway a representation of our party. Incase it wasn’t already abundantly obvious- we absolutely & unequivocally stand for the rights & protection of women. Misogyny has no space in our religion nor our party. https://t.co/aFsDF8DjXA

Utter filth. Nabil Gabol exposes the absolute criminal mindset of Sindh’s government. He has done nothing for Lyari, for the people he supposedly represents, and laughs while talking of such violence. Horrendous. https://t.co/rlRwiNoO6P
