Of course, no Eid is complete without a sweet treat with some chai and little nibbles of crumbly, buttery, sweet, and all sorts of delicious desserts, in short, the perfect accompaniment to your lovely gatherings.

Eid usually in our families is filled with quintessential desserts like Kheer, Sheer Khorma, Seviyan and so much more. The ladies who are not as seasoned as their moms to try such fancy desserts, don’t worry! Here we have gathered a few no-fuss and no-cook yummylicious dessert recipes for all those who do not want to spend their ‘Eid mornings in the kitchen and ruin their perfect glam in the sizzling heat.

Oreo Chocolate Mousse Pie

Ingredients

For the crust

  • 2 packs of Oreo Cookies
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter

For the chocolate layer

  • 1 teaspoon gelatin
  • chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 4 ounces cream cheese,

For the Oreo mousse layer

  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 teaspoon gelatin
  • 1 ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 10 Oreo cookies

Instructions

Prepare a pan by lightly greasing the edges of the pan with cooking spray, Grind one full package of Oreos cookies into fine crumbs and stir well with melted butter.  Pour the crumbs into the pan and press firmly to create a thick crust. Refrigerate the crust while you are preparing the filling.

Combine the melted chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream in a bowl and then add liquid gelatin into the melted chocolate and set it aside to cool. After cooling add cream cheese to the melted chocolate until completely mixed.

Lastly, fold in the prepared whipped cream and mix until all ingredients are combined. Pour the filling into the prepared crust, spread evenly, and refrigerate.

Prepare the whipping cream the same as before and add roughly smashed cookies into the prepared whipped cream. Pour the whipped cream over the chocolate layer and spread evenly.

Refrigerate the pie for 3 to 4 hours until all layers are firm. You can add the topping of your own choice, simply by putting the cookies on and drizzling chocolate or decorating with whipped cream.

 

Cadbury Lazy Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 half rolls Marie biscuit.
  • 90 gm Cadbury Dairy milk chocolate
  • 2 packs of dairy cream

Instructions

Melt the Cadbury chocolate with whipping cream in a bowl. Roughly chop the biscuits and add them to the melted chocolate and cream mixture. Mix well and then pour it into the pan lined with aluminum foil. Cover the mixture with foil properly. Either place the pan in the freezer for a maximum of 3-4 hours or place it in the fridge overnight. And enjoy! Trust me, this tastes like ice cream.

Strawberry Delight

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 packs of dairy cream
  • 1/2 can of condensed milk
  • Marie biscuit or any other tea biscuit

Instructions

First, blend strawberries and sugar to form a thick purée. Next, add cream and condensed milk and gently mix. Then, dip Marie’s biscuit in milk and create a double layer. Then, add half of the mix. Next, add chopped strawberries. Repeat the same process. In the end, blend some strawberries with 2 tbsp. of sugar and pour on top. For best results, refrigerate overnight!

Date Truffles

Ingredients

  • 30 Peanut Biscuits
  • 100g butter
  • 6 dates
  • 5tbsp peanuts
  • 3 bars of Dairy Milk chocolate
  • 200ml Cream
  • 100g butter

 

Directions

  1. Crush the biscuits with butter, dates, and peanuts to layer at the bottom of the pan
  2. Refrigerate for an hour
  3. In a double boiler, add chocolate with butter and double cream
  4. Stir until the mixture is smooth and shiny
  5. Scrape all the mixture on top of the crushed biscuits
  6. Refrigerate for a couple of hours
  7. Serve chilled

Nutella Caramel Fudge Delight

Ingredients

  • cube cut the chocolate cake (you can use packed ones)
  • 1 pack of whipped cream
  • 5 tbsp. Nutella chocolate
  • 100 gm cream cheese
  • 5 tbsp. condensed milk (as per sweetness)
  • 1 pack of full-fat cream
  • caramel sauce
  • crushed roasted almond
  • cocoa powder

Instructions

Arrange the cake in a bowl. Beat the whipping cream with a few tablespoons of Nutella and condensed milk. Add the beaten mixture to the cake layer, drizzle Nutella to enhance taste, and refrigerate. Add another layer of cake. Take a bowl, mix cream cheese, condensed milk, and whipping cream, and pour the mixture on the added layer of cake. Finally, add the layer of caramel sauce on top and use a stick to create a nice swirl.  In the end, decorate with nice roasted almonds and cocoa powder and refrigerate for 4 hours.
