Penned by Sheheryar Munawar, the telefilm follows the story of a couple in their 60s, Jahangir (played by Salman Shahid) and Zubi (played by Simi Raheal) who dedicate their entire lives to raising their children, Ayesha and Kareem.
Once their children are settled down, they focus on the well-being of each other and strive to find happiness in the company of each other. It talks in depth about the societal taboo associated with senior citizens having a life of their own and highlights the reactions of different members of society. While some welcome and praise the couple by calling them ‘couple goals’ others demean them for living a fulfilling happy life.
