Speculation about Dhoni’s potential involvement in films recently began to surface, which was later confirmed by his wife Sakshi Dhoni. While no official confirmation has been made by the cricketer himself, it has left fans and the film industry buzzing with excitement.
The couple has ventured into production recently. During the press conference of their maiden production, Sakshi was asked if Dhoni can take a lead role in one of the films. In reply, she revealed that if there is something good, he might just do it. Previously Dhoni has worked in advertisements so he is not camera-shy.
Elaborating further, Sakshi added that the cricketer is best suited for action films. She said,
He is always in action. If we plan to make a movie with MS Dhoni as a hero, then it will only be an action-packed entertainer. If a character with a good story and a good message comes, then MS Dhoni will consider acting in a movie.
The first film under the banner of Dhoni Entertainment will be the Tamil film Let’s Get Married, directed by Ramesh Thamilmani. The film will star Harish Kalyan, Nadiya, Yogi Babu, and Mirchi Vijay.
