Recently the video of a distressing incident of a group of armed men assaulting security guards within Lahore’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has gained widespread attention on social media platforms.
Along with many other people, the talented actress Yashma Gill also raised her voice against the culprits for beating up the elderly man without any big reason.
She took to her social media account and shared the video questioning whether these incidents will ever come to an end She wrote,
Will my feed ever be free from such news?
The viral video exhibits an incident where a group of men targeted a security guard stationed at a high-end residential society. The guard tried to stop an SUV and two double-cabin vehicles that were moving together as a caravan.
A witness at a nearby eatery recorded the disturbing incident, leaving spectators in awe.
The footage revealed that one of the guards attempted to prevent a white Toyota Hilux Vigo from leaving the premises. Consequently, a group of at least four armed individuals quickly got out of the vehicle and physically assaulted the DHA security personnel.
Other security guards present at the scene intervened to restrain the armed attackers. However, the assailants persisted in their aggression, inflicting severe injuries on the guard. To instill fear among bystanders and staff members, one of the culprits fired shots from an assault rifle.
After the assault, the armed group managed to escape before the police arrived at the scene.
