Renowned singer/songwriter Ali Sethi and painter Salman Toor are trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons.
Twitteratis are claiming that the two artists are not only an alleged gay couple but have already tied the knot, which is illegal in Pakistan.
At the moment, this is only hearsay as neither the alleged couple nor their families have commented on the rumor.
The news of this unholy matrimony broke on social media when a user by the name ‘Thinking Kitty’ tweeted that Ali Sethi got married to Salman Toor yesterday. The tweet has gone viral with many netizens left confused and shocked.

‘Thinking Kitty’ went on to claim that the marriage took place in New York and people won’t find any proof online other than their word. As for credibility, the user also claims to have ‘connections’ with the two artists.

Given how Ali Sethi is one of the few Pakistani artists to openly identify as “queer”, it is not hard to see how he and Salman Toor could be a couple. Some users claimed that they already knew that the two were in a homosexual relationship as one tweep pointed.
