Alizeh Shah has reignited her long-standing feud with fellow actress Zarnish Khan by refusing to accept her apology for remarks made three years ago.
The controversy dates back to 2022 when Zarnish Khan appeared on the Voice-Over Man show and was asked who would win a contest for being the most disrespectful. Without hesitation, Zarnish quipped, “It doesn’t matter who she [Alizeh Shah] is up against, she’ll win.”
The comment, though seemingly offhand, struck a nerve with Alizeh and her family, leading to a fallout that has lingered ever since.
Fast forward to 2025, and Zarnish Khan recently attempted to mend fences by reaching out to Alizeh Shah via Instagram. In a private message, which Alizeh later made public, Zarnish expressed regret over her past words.
“Hey Alizey, I know this is out of the blue, but I’m extremely remorseful for saying something silly in the spur of the moment on OVM. Please forgive me,” Zarnish wrote, even offering to apologize publicly if it would help.
She also extended her apology to Alizeh’s mother, acknowledging the emotional toll her remarks had taken.
“I really want to apologize to your mom. She was really hurt by it,” Zarnish added.
But Alizeh Shah wasn’t having it. In a firm and emotional response, she rejected the apology outright, writing, “It won’t fix the damage you did. I DO NOT forgive you.”
Alizeh didn’t stop there. She accused Zarnish of betraying her family’s kindness, stating, “They weren’t paying you to talk badly about me, but you still did.” She also revealed that her mother had personally called Zarnish after the incident in 2022, crying and asking why she had made such a hurtful remark.
According to Alizeh, Zarnish had promised her mother that she would release a video clarifying her statement but instead blocked her number shortly after.
“Khuda sab dekh raha hai (God is always watching),” Alizeh wrote on her Instagram stories. “No, I can’t forgive you! I still remember how helpless my mom felt that day. Her voice was trembling on that call, and you blocked her so she wouldn’t ask you to apologize again?”
For now, it seems this fairy tale of reconciliation is far from having a happy ending. Whether the two actresses will ever bury the hatchet remains to be seen.
