In a private and low-key affair, Musa Maneka, son of the jailed former First Lady Bushra Bibi and Khawar Maneka, recently tied the knot at a family ceremony in Lahore. The event, held at Khawar Maneka’s farmhouse on Bedian Road, was an intimate gathering attended by close family and friends.

The guest list included notable family members such as MNA Mian Ahmad Raza Maneka, MPA Mian Farooq Maneka, Mian Asif Maneka, and former MPA Diwan Azmat Syed Muhammad Chishti. Sources revealed that the ceremony was kept deliberately small, with only a select group of people invited to celebrate the joyous occasion.

While the event was private, the significance of the Maneka family in political and social circles ensured that the wedding did not go unnoticed. The farmhouse on Badian Road served as the perfect backdrop for the intimate gathering, with family members coming together to celebrate the union.

Bushra Bibi, who is currently in jail along with her husband, the former Prime Minister Imran Khan, was notably absent from the ceremony, but the family ensured the event was filled with warmth and love.

Bushra Bibi was sentenced to seven years on February 4 by a local court for violating Section 496 of the Pakistan Penal Code by marrying during her Iddat period as well as in a case related to the misuse of authority and corruption involving Imran Khan’s Al-Qadir University Project Trust.

Despite the challenges surrounding the family, the wedding was a moment of joy and celebration for the Manekas.
