Indian singer Akhil Sachdeva’s collaboration with the lovely Mawra Hocane is already a hit as fans can’t get enough of the music video for “Tu Chaand Hai,”

Chatting with Filmfare, Sachdeva couldn’t stop gushing about the Sanam Teri Kasam star, calling their teamwork “amazing” and tossing out a truth bomb: “Art cannot be stopped by borders.” Tell that to the Hindu extremists throwing a hissy fit over a Fawad Khan movie.

Sachdeva met Mawra Hocane through her brother-in-law, Farhan Saeed, whom he described as a friend. He noted that their prior connection made the collaboration smooth and enjoyable. “It was amazing, and it all happened in a friendly manner, which shows on the screen,” he said.

The music video, released on April 4, has already amassed millions of views on YouTube. Filmed during Ramadan, the project presented unique challenges, as Mawra Hocane was fasting while Sachdeva juggled performances in different cities.

Despite this, he praised the chemistry and bonding they shared during the shoot. “I was very comfortable with her. We enjoyed working together,” he added.

Discussing the growing trend of cross-border collaborations, Sachdeva remarked, “Collaborations between India and Pakistan have started happening now. You can’t stop music; it transcends everyone.” He also mentioned that “Tu Chaand Hai” is currently in the Top 10 on Pakistan’s Spotify charts, indicating its rising popularity.

Hocane echoed Sachdeva’s sentiments, calling the song “pure magic” and expressing excitement for her fans to experience the project. “Working with the team has been an incredible experience,” she stated.
