A 90-year-old man and his son from the village of Phalkot in Abbottabad pulled off the ultimate family doubleheader: they both got married on the same day.
Ghulam Mustafa, the nonagenarian patriarch, said “I do” for the third time in a lively ceremony packed with family, friends, and enough smiles to light up the Galyat hills. Not to be outdone, his son Ahsan Mustafa also tied the knot, making it a day of double celebrations.
The newlyweds didn’t just share a wedding date—they also made a joint entrance, each bringing home a bride from a different city. Ghulam Mustafa’s bride hailed from Lahore, while Ahsan’s came from Peshawar.
Something tells us there’s going to be a whole new kind of saas bahu drama when the family sits down for the PSL X match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi.
The festivities were steeped in tradition, with music, laughter, and a community that couldn’t help but cheer on the rare sight of a father and son starting new chapters together.
Locals from the Galyat region in Abbottabad praised the Mustafas for setting a joyful new precedent—proving that when it comes to love and celebration, age really is just a number.
