Veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari is under fire after he openly criticised men who marry a second time while their first wife is still alive. Not realizing that his own is one of those men.
On a recent TV show, Sabzwari called a man’s first wife “a blessing from God” and questioned why anyone would risk complications by seeking a second marriage.
He even joked about TV host Iqrarul Hassan, saying if he married again, “people would be left wondering how to react.”
But social media wasn’t laughing. Fans and critics quickly pointed out the glaring irony: Sabzwari’s own son, Shahroz Sabzwari, divorced his first wife and mother of his child, Syra Yousuf, to marry actress Sadaf Kanwal. Many say this makes Behroze’s moral lecture look downright hypocritical.
Users flooded Twitter and Instagram with comments highlighting the double standards, calling out the actor for preaching values that his family didn’t follow.
