Veteran Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan has come forward to defend his son, Sahir Hasan, in the ongoing Mustafa Amir murder case, accusing the police of coercing false testimony and fabricating evidence.
During a press conference, Sajid Hasan strongly criticized the authorities, claiming his son was innocent and had been targeted as part of a “well-planned conspiracy.”
The actor alleged that his son was physically abused and forced to provide a statement under duress. “My son has been taken hostage to manipulate his testimony,” Sajid Hasan said, describing the police’s actions as unethical and unlawful.
He further questioned whether these repeated incidents involving his family were mere coincidences or part of a larger conspiracy.
Sajid Hasan revealed that this was not the first time his family had been targeted. He recalled a similar incident four years ago when his house was raided, but he successfully fought that case. In the current investigation, his home has been raided twice, allegedly without a search warrant, raising serious concerns about the conduct of the authorities.
The case revolves around the murder of Mustafa Amir, with several names, including Sahir Hasan, being implicated. Sahir has been accused of selling drugs to Mustafa and another individual, Armaghan, who has been named as the alleged killer. However, Sajid Hasan firmly denied these accusations, calling them baseless and fabricated.
“My son is not a drug dealer, and he is not Mustafa’s killer,” Sajid Hasan stated, adding that Sahir and Mustafa were like brothers. He suggested that influential figures might be behind the case, manipulating the narrative to protect the real culprits.
The actor also expressed concerns for his family’s safety, fearing that the masterminds behind the case might attempt to frame him as well. He revealed that the stress of the situation had taken a toll on his family, with his wife suffering from epilepsy and his daughter-in-law’s family deeply traumatized.
Calling for a transparent investigation, Sajid Hasan urged the authorities to expose the true masterminds behind the case and bring the real killers to justice. “This is a personal tragedy for my family, but we will not stop fighting for the truth,” he concluded.
