Veteran Pakistani actress Sumbul Shahid passed away after a long battle with the deadly coronavirus. Several showbiz celebrities expressed their grief over the loss and sent their condolences to the late actress’s sisters Bushra Ansari, Zara Noor Abbas and Asma Abbas.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to worsen in Pakistan as new cases emerge nationwide. As a result, many families have lost their loved ones to this deadly virus. The latest victim of the coronavirus is veteran actress Sumbul Shahid. She is the sister to the Asma Abbas and legendary actress Bushra Ansari. Sumbul had been battling with the virus for some time after her diagnosis for the deadly virus came back positive.
The actress’s condition continued to worsen as she was put on ventilator. On April 30, Bushra took to her Instagram to let fans know about her sister’s condition after contracting the COVID-19 virus. Unfortunately, Sumbul could not survive the deadly virus as she passed away late Thursday night.
Several showbiz celebrities took to their Instagram stories to express their grief over the loss of the veteran actress. Many sent their condolences to the family.
