Two Indian Muslims Carry Out Funeral Rites of Hindus Who Died of COVID

Danish and Sadam’s kindness is just one example as many other Indian Muslims step up for Hindu countrymen

Two Muslim men have moved the Internet by proving the true spirit of Ramadan with their kindness. These Indian Muslims are carrying out the funeral rites of Hindus who died of COVID-19.

Many families left their dead dejected and turned away from performing their final rites. With families being wary of coming in contact with the infected bodies, there was no one to carry out the last rites of the dead. That’s when Danish Siddiqui and Saddam Qurashi, started cremating the coronavirus victims.

So far, they have cremated around 60 Hindu coronavirus victims whose families missed the funerals in the fear of getting infected. Some families couldn’t perform the last rites due to COVID regulations on dead bodies and cremation ground.

Despite fasting during Ramadan, both men regularly visit hospitals and ferry dead bodies to the cremation ground.
