As Pakistan is going through a difficult period with the flash floods and the state of emergency in the country, many people have stepped up. Of all the viral stories inspiring others to help, one story that stands out is that of Assistant District Commission (ADC) Nowshera.
As a natural disaster of this magnitude has hit the country, over 1000 people have been confirmed dead. With another 30 million affected directly. From crops being destroyed and food resources depleted to houses and roads being washed away like dirt.
Additionally, many domestic animals are lost in huge numbers. Amid all this ADC Nowshera Miss Qurutulain Wazir has saved hundreds with her efforts.
As the floods were moving towards her city, ADC Nowshera went ahead and took the initiative to evacuate the city.
ADC Nowshera personally went door to door to evacuate people and helped them settle in relief camps. Her valiant efforts saved many scores of lives.
Given her timely initiative, many people are safe in relief camps. As news of her efforts made its way online Netizens lauded her efforts.
