After Barbie Biryani, Spiderman Biryani Makes a Debut

It’s Blue, It’s A Spider Web and It Is Biryani!!

In the ever-evolving landscape of culinary creativity, Mumbai-based baker Heena Kausar Raad has once again captured the internet’s attention with her latest creation: the bizarre yet intriguing Blue-Colored Spiderman Biryani. This unconventional twist on the traditional South Asian dish comes hot on the heels of her previous viral sensation, the Pink Barbie Biryani, showcasing hkr’s knack for blending culinary artistry with playful aesthetics.

The culinary world is no stranger to experimentation, but Heena’s unique fusion of iconic characters with beloved regional dishes has taken social media by storm. Following the success of her Pink Barbie Biryani, which garnered widespread attention and divided opinions with its vibrant-hued presentation, she has once again pushed the boundaries of culinary imagination with her latest creation.

The Blue-Colored Spiderman Biryani features the iconic web-slinger superhero rendered in rice and food coloring, meticulously crafted to resemble the likeness of the beloved Marvel character. The dish is a feast for the eyes, with vibrant shades of blue adorning the rice grains, accompanied by strategically placed edible spiderweb decorations.

Heena Kausar Raad also explained that real butterfly pea flowers were used to create a vivid blue color, doing away with the necessity for artificial coloring. With great delight, the woman removed these “webs” with a spoon and clarified that they were quite edible.

Earlier, another one of Heena’s creations had gone viral when she had prepared pink biryani with pink raita for a Barbie-themed party.

Reactions in the comments section, however, were divided; while some expressed concerns about the color’s potential health effects, others suspected that artificial food coloring was used in the biryani.
