The film line-up for 2020 just keeps getting better. Now even Ahsan Khan has a film titled ‘Parde Mein Rehne Do‘ slated for release in 2020.
Ahsan Khan’s 2017 rom-com Chupan Chupai, was an audience favorite. Now the actor is sticking to that formula again:
“It’s a romantic comedy with a huge social message also hidden in the story,”

The Bol Nights television show host revealed Parde Mein Rehne Do ‘is a 100% entertainment film‘. Ahsan revealed that the creators of Parde Mein Rehne Do are the same people the worked on Chupan Chupai.
“The same team that made Chupan Chupai.”

To be more specific, Zayed Sheikh is in the director’s seat while Mohsin Ali penned the script. Besides Ahsan Khan, the rest of the cast isn’t final as they’re still in talks.
“Mohsin Ali is the writer and director and Zayed Sheikh is the producer. The rest of the cast isn’t finalised yet though, I only signed it a few days back. They have a few names and options that they are in talks with though.”
So with most things pretty much on the same track as Chupan Chupai, what’s different this time around? The Maryam Periera actor revealed that the social message he mentioned is what’s unique. It’s a subject no one has ever breached before.
“I think that social message has never been touched upon before on television or film ever.”

The film is currently in pre-production, and Ahsan Khan was tight-lipped about any more details. He did disclose that the director and producer will reveal more information in days to come.
“In a few days [I think] we’ll be revealing [more details]. The producer and director will be unveiling the full cast and we’ll have the press release or something. We plan to start the shooting for the film in a few months.”
The Cast
So who are these actors in talks to sign Parde Mein Rehne Do? The Dastaan actor didn’t reveal which actors were being approached by the team.
Before Ahsan signed the film, he had a few other offers he skimmed though before settling on Parde Mein Rehne Do.
The Udaari actor disclosed that he did have a few offers on the table but it this film grabbed his attention.
“I feel that it’ll be very enjoyable. The script is so captivating that when I was listening to Mohsin narrate it, I was so hooked. It’s going to be fun. I like the idea, I like the concept, I like the dialogues and I like the story.”
