Neelum Muneer and Yasir Nawaz to Reunite for “Bikhre Moti”

The dynamic duo of Neelam Muneer and Yasir Nawaz will be teaming up for another drama serial following the success of their previous project Dil Mom Ka Diya.

This time the two will be seen in rather a sensitive themed drama, Bikhre Moti, which highlights the menace of child abuse in our society.

Bhikre Moti Will Highlight Child Abuse

Yasir Nawaz will be seen playing the role of a father whose children are mistreated and abused.

Talking about his character in the drama, the Dil Mom Ka Diya star revealed that he will be seen playing a negative role for the first half of the drama. The drama is scheduled to release within the next few weeks.

It shows how my kids are mistreated and abused. I play their father and the character is negative in the first 15 episodes before he changes for good. The drama is going to be on air in a month or two and might replace Surkh Chandni.

I have done Dil Mom ka Diya with the same team before, same director, same production house and It was a splendid experience; this is my second project with them.

I’ve Never Done Negative Roles: Yasir Nawaz

Yasir Nawaz also revealed that he was little skeptical about the role because he has rarely done negative roles. But when he find out that the character changes his behavior towards the end he said yes for the role.

“I’ve always played a good guy. In fact, I run away from negative roles. That’s because my father had played a lot of negative roles so I was initially a little skeptical but then I found out the character transitions in a positive way after 15 episodes. He is loud which is a challenge for me because that’s not me at all. I have only done soft-spoken roles before,” the actor concluded.

Pakistani drama industry has been gradually shifting their interest towards more sensitive issues in the society which is a good thing to see. Dramas like Muqabil, Khuda Mera Bhi Hai, Udaari, Chup Raho and Roag have all contributed in spreading awareness about deep-seated social issues among the viewers.

Besides, Neelam Muneer and Yasir Nawaz the cast of Bikhre Moti also includes Samina Ahmed , Rashid Farooqui, Waseem Abbas and Nausheen Shah. It had been penned down by Edison, directed by Shahid Shafat and produced under the banner of Next Level Entertainment.
