Pakistan’s sweethearts Aiman Khan and Hina Altaf are having a go at each other. While the two are favorites in the industry, they certainly are no fans of one another, with all that fuss over Muneeb Butt (its’ not what you think).
Recently VJ-turned-actress Hina Altaf named Muneeb Butt as ‘an actor who can’t act but goes through all the motions‘. Hina said all this while invited as a guest on the show, ‘To Be Honest’.
“To Be Honest” is hosted by comedian Tabish Hashmi.

Obviously, this didn’t sit well with Aiman Khan, who also happens to be Muneeb Butt’s wife. Once the video of the interview went viral, Aiman lashed out at Hina on Facebook.
“Shame on these people for making fun of their colleagues.”
How Things Went Down
On his show ‘To Be Honest,’ Tabish asked Hina to name a bad actor. The Atish actress immediately quipped with “Muneeb Butt.”
That’s when Tabish stated bluntly that he doesn’t know who is he. The comedian then proceeded to Google the actor, with some help from Hina. She pointed out that Muneeb Butt is ‘the one who had that month-long luxurious wedding‘.
Hina Altaf then cracked a joke that:
“I was not even invited to the wedding”
Tabish Hashmi replied that he remembers this wedding because of the bride. He then shared how the bride, Aiman Khan posted pictures discouraging the tradition of dowry. That too right after her overly expensive, extravagant wedding.
Aiman Khan Strikes Back
All these laughs did not sit well with Aiman Khan. Soon after the video of Hina Altaf’s interview went viral Aiman reacted on Facebook. She posted a story taking a jab at both the Pagli actress and the host.
“Such uneducated host and guest, I must say.”
Aiman Khan’s twin sister Minal also pitched in and questioned why there was so much hatred in the industry. She too took a dig at the host Tabish Hashmi as well.
“Why do we hate each other so much? Such uneducated host and guest!”

At the beginning of the interview when Hina Altaf asked Tabish Hashmi if he wanted a serious answer. The comedian joked that Hina had given her share of serious answers to Samina Peerzada on her show (Speak From The Heart).
He even jokingly added:
“Give answers that will create controversy after controversy,”
The entire show then consisted of making hearty jokes aimed at everyone from Nasir Khan Jan to Amir Liaquat.
Who Started It?
Many people jumped on Aiman Khan’s bandwagon and bashed Hina Altaf for being negative. Turns out this is a feud that goes way back. And it was Aiman Khan who started it not Hina Altaf.
Ages ago, during her appearance on Yasir Hussain’s The Aftermoon Show, Aimal and twin sister Minal had said that Hina is a ‘bad actor.’

When Yasir Hussain asked which actress does Aiman think should take up acting classes, Aiman Khan said Hina Altaf.
What About Muneeb?
Amidst this war of words, so far the actor who’s skills are being questioned here did not even speak up.
Interestingly, Muneeb Butt was cast with Hina Altaf way before he met Aiman Khan.
Then an emerging actor, Muneeb Butt was part of the Ek Thi Misaal cast with Hina Altaf. That was before he meet Aiman Khan on the set of Beqasoor.
Perhaps Hina Altaf’s opinion is based on her experience working with a rookie Muneeb Butt on the set of Ek Thi Misaal.
But no matter what the story is here, we think this is one fight that we could do without.
