Actress Ainy Jaffri has bagged a role in the feature film Coke, which is directed and written by Sarim Momin.
After making her TV comeback after a four-year-hiatus, the Mandi star is ready to shine on the big screen. While the likes of Mahira and Fawad Khan won’t be getting calls from India anytime soon, it looks like Ainy Jaffri is still on Bollywood’s speed dial.
Ainy shared snippets of her work from the set of the upcoming Bollywood film on social media, even posting a picture of a clapper board with the movie title.
The news was confirmed after her co-star, Paul Marlon, shared a picture in which Ainy was seen sitting on a sofa for a shot.
Adding to the excitement, Ainy Jaffri will be sharing the screen with Siddhant Kapoor, son of Bollywood veteran actor Shakti Kapoor. The duo’s pairing has piqued the interest of fans on both sides of the border, and they are eagerly waiting to see their chemistry on the big screen.
Earlier this month when she posted a picture of the script for Coke and expressed her joy, exclaiming, “It’s finally happening!” The script bore a Mumbai address, confirming the Indian origin of the project.
Ainy Jaffri is a popular actress and model. She gained recognition for her role in the popular drama series Aseerzadi in 2013, which earned her critical acclaim and a nomination for Best Television Actress at the Lux Style Awards. Ainy then took a four-year break from the showbiz industry to focus on her family.
She is currently residing in the United Kingdom with her husband and son. Earlier this week, she was spotted turning heads at the London premiere of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie at Leicester Square.
