While Aishwarya Rai was the first Bollywood babe to go Hollywood, her career ended with the film Pink Panther 2. Turns out the actress rejected the role of a lifetime opposite Brad Pitt in Troy, back in 2004.
While most actresses would jump at the opportunity to work opposite one of the finest Hollywood actors like Brad Pitt, the pageant queen Aishwarya Rai turned down the role of Briseis in the Hollywood blockbuster Troy, because of Brad Pitt.
The actress wasn’t comfortable shooting intimate scenes with Brad Pitt so she turned down the role. The role then went to Rose Byrne.
Troy, directed by Wolfgang Petersen, featured Brad Pitt in the lead role of Achilles. Other notable Troy cast members include Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom and Diane Kruger.
