Pop star Ali Zafar enthralled the audiences in Islamabad on the final day of SoulFest 2022 in Park View City, and what a night it was. The Teefa in Trouble star sang his heart out in front of a jam-packed crowd on the chilly Sunday night. After back-to- back stellar performances from the likes of Noori and Asim Azhar on Day 1 and Day 2 of Pakistan’s biggest food and music festival, the best was saved the best for last, and Ali Zafar did not disappoint.
Ali Zafar even melted fans’ hearts last night at SoulFest when he picked up an adorable little girl from the audience and serenaded her with his classic song, Sajania.
Ali Zafar wasn’t the only star performer of the night. Singer-songwriter Faisal Kapadia had also been roped in and he gave the twin cities crowd a dose of what they had been missing for a long time.
The former Strings vocalist, took fans down nostalgia lane with some of the iconic band’s hits like Durr, Najanay Kyun, and Yeh Hai Meri Kahani. He even sang his latest Coke Studio Season 14 hit single, Phir Milenge.
One fan was worried about maxing out his cellphone’s 256 GB memory because he couldn’t resist capturing Faisal Kapadia’s memorable performance.
The other notable performers of the night included Abdul Hannan, Hareem Rashid, the band Khumariyaan, and Wajih Farooqi.
Pakistan’s biggest food and music festival, SoulFest 2022, kicked off in Park View City, Islamabad on Friday. The three-day event featured a star-studded lineup that included Shan Khan, Somewhat Super, Sahara UK, Soch the Band, Natasha Baig, Young Desi, Manj Musik, and Waqar Ehsin, to name a few.
The Soul Food and Music Festival is one of the most popular events that brought together thousands of music and food lovers from all across Pakistan. The event was created by ActiveMedia in 2017 and has garnered huge success nationwide besides serving as a platform for budding chefs and up-and-coming musicians.
