Alizeh Shah Accuses Shazia Manzoor of Deliberately Causing Her Viral Ramp Fall

Alizeh Shah - Shazia Manzoor

In a shocking revelation, Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has accused veteran singer Shazia Manzoor of intentionally causing her to fall during a high-profile ramp walk at Bridal Couture Week 2021, claiming the incident was orchestrated to gain viral attention.

The allegations, shared through a series of Instagram stories, have reignited discussions about the infamous moment that initially appeared to be an accidental stumble.

During the 2021 Bridal Couture Week, Alizeh Shah, walking the ramp for designer Nisa Hussain, slipped and fell while accompanied by Shazia Manzoor, who was performing her hit song Chan Mere Makhna. At the time, the incident was widely reported as an accident, with Manzoor quickly helping Shah to her feet, earning praise for her supportive gesture. Shah herself initially described the fall as a result of “confusion” over which direction to exit the runway, thanking Manzoor for her “love and energy” in helping her recover. However, the actress now claims the fall was no accident.

In her recent video statement, Shah alleged, “My fall on the ramp wasn’t an accident. Shazia Manzoor kept grabbing and pushing me repeatedly, which made me lose balance.” She further accused Manzoor of engaging in a pattern of such behavior, citing a similar incident involving social media influencer Jannat Mirza. “This behavior is a habit of hers. She’s done the same to Jannat Mirza before. Such actions can embarrass anyone, especially in a public setting,” Shah stated.

Shah’s accusations extend beyond the fall itself. She claims Manzoor capitalized on the viral moment by recreating similar incidents with other celebrities, including host Juggan Kazim, who also fell during a 2021 morning show segment with Manzoor. Shah shared video clips showing Manzoor with other models stumbling on the runway, suggesting a deliberate trend to attract attention. “Shazia attempted to cash in on the viral 2021 incident by recreating it with others,” Shah stated, pointing to the pattern as evidence of intentional behavior.

Adding fuel to the controversy, Shah criticized Kazim for mocking her fall during the morning show segment, calling it “unprofessional.” She expressed disappointment, stating, “Instead of taking the matter seriously, Juggan Kazim made fun of my fall. That’s not how you handle such situations.”

Shah’s bold accusations have sparked widespread conversation within Pakistan’s entertainment industry. Actress Urwa Hocane voiced her support, commenting, “I hear you. I get you. Don’t pay attention to these so-called seniors who have such fragile egos that they get shaken when you don’t accept their toxicity. Respect must be earned, not demanded.”

However, Shah’s claims have also stirred debate, as some netizens and industry observers question the timing of her allegations, given her initial gratitude toward Manzoor in 2021. At the time, Shah had praised the singer, saying, “What a fireball of energy Shazia Jee has. She picked me back up with so much love.” Critics argue that her change in narrative may be driven by personal grievances or a desire to reclaim the spotlight.
