Pakistani actor Alyy Khan opened up about his experience filming an intimate scene with Bollywood actress Kajol in the Indian web series The Trial.
The series has been making headlines not for its “Hollywood inspired” storyline” but for Kajol breaking her “no-kissing on-screen” policy after almost 29 years.
An old Nadir Ali podcast clip has gone viral in which Alyy Khan casually discussed his kiss with the Bollywood actress, stating that there was no shame, embarrassment, or hesitation while filming the passionate lip-lock scene.
Speaking to Pakistani Youtuber Nadir Ali, Alyy mentioned that the scene was shot at a posh hotel, and the director gave them the option of having a closed set with only essential crew members present.
“I enjoyed working with her,” said Alyy, praising Kajol’s professionalism. He emphasized the importance of good chemistry and trust between actors while performing intimate scenes. According to him, when the demand of the scene calls for such moments, both actors need to have a strong understanding and trust in each other to execute the scene professionally.
Before shooting the scene, Alyy and Kajol rehearsed it multiple times to ensure they were comfortable with the portrayal. After the shot, they even walked over to the monitors to review their performance and ask each other if they were satisfied with the take.
The Trial is an Indian adaptation of the popular American series The Good Wife. Produced by Kajol’s husband, actor Ajay Devgn, the web series features a stellar cast, including Jisshu Sengupta, Kubbra Sait, Gaurav Pandey, and Aamir Ali, alongside Alyy Khan and Kajol.
