American Students Hold COVID-19 Theme Parties, Bet On Who Gets Sick First

What is this madness?

While we blame our government for their lack of control over managing the coronavirus pandemic, we should be a little bit more appreciative of them. Because things are far worse in the United States as people are having “COVID Parties” as well as using the deadly virus as a theme for their new gambling game!

According to reports, students in Tuscaloosa, Alabama are completely disregarding social distancing as they are throwing COVID parties with friends. Not only that, but these students are also gambling on who will get infected by the deadly virus first.

How does that work, you ask? Well, these students intentionally invite COVID-positive students to the party and see who would catch the virus.

Tuscaloosa’s city council member, Sonya McKinstry, brought attention to these reported parties that were part of this morbid game of gamble.

“They put money in a pot and they try to get COVID. Whoever gets COVID first gets the pot. It makes no sense,” she said.

The council member did not mention the name of the campus or university, but it is suspected to be the University of Alabama, which is the largest college not only in the city, but the flagship school of the state of Alabama.

McKinstry insisted that the public should take the threat of coronavirus more seriously. According to reports, there have been around 37,536 recorded cases of the coronavirus, which includes 926 fatalities. It’s a good thing that our university campuses are closed and no one is partaking in such ridiculously stupid and dangerous activities. Stay safe and stay posted for more news stories.
