Ever since the Uzma Khan and Huma Khan scandal, Pakistani social media has been taken by a storm. Many people are passing around blame as they see fit. Whether it was the raid on the house or the extramarital affairs, people still want to know – why has Usman Malik not been brought out and shamed in public? After all, he is also at fault, right?
While both Amna Usman and Uzma Malik, have been fighting for their rights in glaring public view, the husband who was having an affair is pretty much absent from the story. So, it goes without saying that social media is outraged by the patriarchal mindset that exists.
In a recent video, Amna Usman set things straight and shared that her husband, Usman Malik, is also facing the consequences of his actions. She explained how, being a Pakistani woman, she gave her husband quite a few chances to reflect and refrain from the activities he had been involved in. But, it was all in vain.
Amna revealed that she had to sell out all her belongings – including her car, jewelry, and cars – to help her husband out through monetary crisis. However, Amna says all her money was slowly but surely going to Uzma Khan who has eaten up millions of their cash.
Amna Usman says enough is enough
She has decided to take a significant step now.
We are literally [financially] drained. I’m at a point where I’m taking a divorce and I’m left with nothing.
Thank God that my in-laws are very supportive, they have supported me throughout this whole situation. Nobody is calling their son truthful or right.
She concluded her video by saying that Usman Malik is left with nobody to support or favor him, and that his situation is worse than that of Uzma Khan.

I think girls like #UzmaKhan and her sister deserve this kind of behaviour. We should all discourage these girls who sell itself for fame and money I mean they are presenting herself very pretty well women in drama but in reality she in living in #Usman house so sad to hear it.

From where we are standing, all the parties are to be blamed and the weight of their mistakes shall be judged in court according to the laws of Pakistan. As for the personal fallout, as adults, these folks need to understand that there are consequences to every action.
