It’s been a crazy Eid weekend. Yesterday, social media was ablaze with a scandal involving a couple of relatives of Malik Riaz and Pakistani actress Uzma Khan and her sister. The scandal involves a cheating husband Usman, some famous women, and of course, the wife of the cheater Amna Usman herself.
For those who are unaware, here’s what happened.
It all started with a viral video of a group of women and their guards breaking and entering into Pakistani actress Uzma’s home. They proceeded to assault and harass by breaking things, pouring kerosene oil on two women, even alleged sexual assault as per reports. The women from Usman and Amna’s family allegedly attacked the Pakistani actress, calling her out on being one of Usman’s mistresses.
The aggressors filmed the whole ordeal, perhaps thinking that they could shame the mistress. This just ended up highlighting their criminal conduct.
Following this bizarre episode, people started asking ‘who are these women’ and why don’t they hold the cheating husband accountable?

Uzma Khan comes out with a statement
That’s when Yalghaar actress Uzma Khan addressed the situation in a post. The Pakistani actress alleges that Amber Malik and Pashmina Malik are the ladies who attacked her.
Social media began demanding justice for Uzma Khan and #MalikRiaz was trending on Twitter.
An FIR was not initially registered according to the statement. But it seems social media pressure compelled the authorities to do so later.
Punjab Police believes in and works for the establishment of the rule of law. Nobody is above the law. Punjab police will ensure that law takes its own course. Legal action has already been initiated and will be taken to its just and logical conclusion.

Soon afterward Uzma Khan lawyered up. Barrister Hassan Khan Niazi is representing her.

Later on, details emerged that these women assaulters were business tycoon Malik Riaz’s daughters. There was also hearsay that the cheating husband Usman Riaz is Malik Riaz’s nephew. That’s when Malik Riaz stated that he was being maligned in a scandal he has nothing to do with and Usman Riaz is not his nephew.

The Wife’s Version
Amna Usman, Usman Riaz’s wife, then issued her own video statement about how this personal spat was being blown out of proportion. She alleges that this was not a spat between her and Uzma Khan but rather Hassan Khan Niazi and Malik Riaz. She says Usman Riaz is not a close relative of Malik Riaz and Hassan Khan Niazi is trying to get money out of this.
According to Uzma Khan, her lawyer is the one who was illegally detained by police. That is something Director Inspector General (DIG) of Lahore Police denies.
As already stated, the FIR is being lodged; there’s no reason for such alleged action. Let the law take its course!

While Hassan Khan Niazi stated that while an FIR was filed, it was a weak one that did not detail the gravity of the actual offense.

Uzma Khan asserts that in a time when no is standing by her, she thanked Hassan Khan Niazi for his legal representation. Netizens are still demanding justice for the Adhi Gawahi actress and demanding the Cheif Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar and Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan intervene.

Why is anyone surprised at thIs thuggish behaviour of Malik Riaz’s daughters?
The language they used is also in character.
